Years Helping Communities Move Forward

Why It Matters

Crossroads helps communities get it right.

Public funding campaigns aren’t just a means to an end. They’re moments where communities decide what they value—education, infrastructure, safety, quality of life, and smart growth. Done well, campaigns build confidence, momentum, and unity. Done poorly, they create confusion, distrust, and setbacks that take years to repair.

Planning ahead is a critical component of successful campaigns.

A public information campaign is only as strong as the team behind it.

Why Communities Choose an Experienced Partner

Compliance &
Messaging Boundaries

We help you successfully navigate the legal and ethical pitfalls that require experience—ensuring communications remain clear, appropriate, and effective.

Strategic Psychology
& Timing

Public opinion shifts in phases because if people are armed with enough accurate information, they can turn into your best advocates. Trust and advocacy take time—and we have a method for that.

Internal Capacity Protection

We’ll work in tandem with your staff, allowing them to stay focused on operations, not campaign execution.

High ROI

Our cost is a fraction—roughly one part in a thousand—compared to the return on an average $25 million bond package.

Case Study: City of Catoosa

Challenge: Secure majority voter approval of a $20.5 million bond for a new public safety complex.

Outcome: 66% voter approval

Q&A

What does the timeline look like if I choose to work with you?

Every initiative is different, but most successful renewal campaigns begin 6 months prior to an election date—which builds momentum and creates time to educate the community. New bonds or tax communication campaigns ideally begin 12 months out. Keep in mind communications doesn't mean being loud on social media or in the press from day one.

How far in advance should I bring on a communications partner?

Earlier is better. Successful campaigns aren’t built overnight, and the message is stronger when strategy comes before, not after. Depending on the type of campaign, we recommend getting a communications partner involved somewhere between 12-24 months ahead of the vote.
